Villa Nova

Local host was extremely helpful!

Well appointed and spacious villa with access to a lovely swimming pool, within easy walking distance of excellent restaurants, but in a peaceful location overlooking vineyards and olive trees so a great place to relax, having spent the day exploring. Our host Maria was friendly, professional and very responsive, helping to make our stay stress-free- thank you!

A really cosy and charming house, nice pool and area.

The location is very nice and quiet. The house is spatious and decorated with lots of furniture. (for us a bit too much) but that's a matter of personal taste. There were plenty of nice spots where you can site down down. We espcially liked the first floor balcony (sere). Wifi reception on the big terrasse is unfortunately very poort and we had often no connection there. Maybe this could be improved. The swimming pool was quiet and the watertemperature was perfect. Unfortunatelly due to a emergency at home we had to leave after a week which made us very sad! Special thanks to Maria, She is very friendly and gave us a very good reception!

The village was in a good location for exploring some of the major tourist attractions.
On arrival there was a beautiful ( and very large) homemade tart, bottles of water, milk and a few bottles of wine including prosecco and a wonderful display of fruit which lasted the whole week. The most generous arrival pack we have ever experienced.
If the ant problem could be sorted it would have been an even better experience. Would still recommend however.

We had a wonderful stay at Maria's villa. The house is beautifully furnished with lots of spaces with great views of the surrounding countryside, vineyards and olive groves all around. Maria was exceptionally welcoming and left us a very generous welcome package, we felt very much at home, thank you very much!

Wij zaten graag bij Osteria, goede gastheer en lekker eten!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden das Haus herzlich weiterempfehlen.

Super mooie villa in een prachtige streek in Toscane. Het huis bestaat uit meerdere verdiepingen met een mooie grote woonkeuken beneden. Er zijn meerdere zitjes, dus altijd een fijne plek in de zon of juist schaduw. Er is ook genoeg huisraad aanwezig. En de bedden waren prima. Airconditioning werkte goed, wel nodig in de zomer. Fijn ook dat er een wasmachine was.Het huis was heel erg schoon. Cecilia ontving ons en er stond een heel welkomstpakket klaar met lekkere wijn.Ja, de foto’s en beschrijving kwamen overeen met de werkelijkheid.De bovenste verdieping heeft een 2-persoonsbed en nog wen zijkamertje met een 1 persoonsbed. Op de tussenverdieping was een slaapbank opgemaakt. Maar dat was echt prima! Voor een gezin maakt dat niet uit.Prachtige badkamer. Alles werkte goed.Mooi onderhouden tuin. En het Toscaanse landschap is natuurlijk zoals in de films.Onze host Cecilia ontving ons. Ook heeft ze voor ons een restaurant gereserveerd en hadden we bij vragen contact via whatsapp. Heel fijn.

Very nice home, beautiful surroundings and garden. The house is in 3 storages; kitchen and dining room below (and small toilet), livingroom in the middel floor, bedroom and bathroom on the top floor.
A floorplan of the house would be nice.

Villa Nova was our base while my sister and I and her 3 teenage children attended a three-day wedding held in a local winery. The villa and amenities were to a very high standard. Washroom. Ironing facilities, endless hot water, coffee machines, round-the-room sound system and huge TV. Lots of separate areas and terraces with views extended the house significantly. The garden was a pleasure, kumquats and lemons at the plenty. We had the good sized pool to ourselves. We were five so Maria had made up the sofa bed in the living room. It's a big room so that wasn't a problem to have the bed permanently made up. Maria was extremely friendly and accommodating allowing us to use the pool for an extra couple of hours after check out. Had some issues with the toilet flush but Maria dealt with them immediately. Extremely generous welcome package. Tarts, fruits, juices, milk, wines, it was gratefully received. Michelin star restaurant in Villa Sesta is a 10 min walk away. Perfect for us.

Really beautiful villa with lots of covered seating areas so you can stay cool away the heat of the Summer sun

Excellent house which is decorated in a very special way. Very spacious and well equipped kitchen. A fantastic living room and a nice bedroom and bathroom on the top floor. Outside sitting areas on each and every floor. Garden well maintained. Cecilia is a wonderful and very welcoming host.
The villa is located 300 meters from Villa a Sesta, which is a small and peaceful village located on the Chiante route. Four excellent restaurants of which two have a Michelin star.

Hervorragende Unterkunft mit toller Ausstattung, sehr nette Verwalterin, Terrassen auf jeder Ebene, Ankommen und wohlfühlen. Klare Weiterempfehlung!

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Nova. Our contact person for the villa was super nice and answered all our questions, the accomodation was very clean, the kitchen had every kitchenware imaginable and our personal highlight was the conservatory. All in all, we can only recommend staying there.

Amazing place, the pictures do not do it justice. We had a fatastic week there and would love to have stayed longer. The surrounding area is stunning and so it Villa Nova. The terrace is especially lovely and we spent most evenings sitting out having dinner. Beautiful place and I would highly recommend it.

Prachtig mooi huis. Alles aanwezig wat je maar wenst. Keuken is zeer compleet, dus wie van koken houdt kan zich uitleven. Warm ontvangst met uitgebreid welkom met wijn, water en heel veel fruit. Wifi was niet zo goed op de bovenste verdieping, maar dat werd snel opgelost! Daarnaast zou ik investeren in een paar goede matrassen.. alles is nl prachtig, het huis, het zwembad, de gastvrije ontvangst...en daar passen ook goede bedden bij. Wij hadden allemaal na een paar dagen last van onze rug bij het wakker worden.

We loved Villa Nova! There is view from every window and every terrace. The furnishings are beautiful! Loved the flowers filling every pot. Cecilia was so sweet, helpful and so prompt when we needed her. Grazie! We loved all the wonderful welcome treats in the house. We are so glad we stayed 2 weeks because we saw the area and enjoyed this beautiful villa. My husband was so happy to have an outdoor grill. It was a perfect place to stay!

We stayed in this beautiful and well-equiped house for 12 days. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed it ! Thanks for the very warm welcome of Maria Cecilia. We chose this villa to visit the Chianti area. We had a great time exploring the many medieval villages! We can also recommend the Osteria alla Villa in Villa a Sesta, only a few hundred meters from the villa, where we often had a great diner at very resonable prices.

Very nice and spacious villa with everything that a family might need. The area is quiet and there are some nice restaurants walking distance. I recommend it!

Ogni giorno è stata una avventura guidare nella campagna, fermarsi nei piccoli borghi godendo del cibo e del vino tipicamente toscano.
Una passeggiata mattutina e un caffè’ nel piccolo San Gusmè, un pranzo meraviglioso a Montalcino a “ L’ Angolo”.

Es ist ein Traumhaus :-) Es fehlt einfach an nichts. Man kommt an und fühlt sich sofort ZUHAUSE. Wir waren jetzt schon zum 2. mal hier und das Gefühl war sofort wieder da. Wir wurden mit vielen Aufmerksamkeiten nett empfangen ( Wein, Kuchen, Wasser, Saft, Kaffee, Obst usw.) Das Haus ist für zwei Personen der blanke Luxus.

Sehr hübsch und individuell eingerichtet. Sauber. Überaus großzügiges Willkommenspaket der freundlichen Vermieter.

Abbiamo soggiornato e apprezzato la zona e il meraviglioso vino locale, le persone.
Posto incantevole e molto tranquillo.
Il giardino + casa sono così ben tenuti! Abbiamo visitato......+ altre attrazioni locali.

WE STAYED HERE FOR ONE WEEK, AND MAKED IN DAY-TRIPS TO FLORENCE, ROME AND VENICE. SO WE DID NOT GET TO SPEND REALY ENOUGH TIME IN THIS AMAZING HOME AS WE WOULD HAVE LIKED. BUT IS THAT NOT ALWAYS THE CASE WITH SOMETHING SO FINE? THE MOMENT WE SHARED IN THIS BEAUTIFUL REFUGE WILL BE SURED MEMORIES.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier und fanden ein wahres traumhaus vor.
Es bleiben keine Wünsche offen.
Alles war mit stilvollen und schönen Details Geschmückt.

Das Ferienhaus ist perfekt ausgestattet, die Bilder der website geben den tatsächlichen Zustand wieder. Die Einrichtung ist modern und komfortabel. Der Blick vom Balkon in der zweiten Etage (Schlafzimmer) ist wunderbar. Wir haben uns hauptsächlich im unteren Bereich (Küche und Terrasse vor dem Eingang aufgehalten). Restaurants gibt es im Dörfchen Villa a Sesta (Empfehlung Osteria alla Villa), in Castelnuovo Berardenga und Pianella. Für Ausflüge ist das Ferienhaus ideal gelegen. Siena ist ca. 25 km entfernt (Parkplatz unterhalb der Basilica di San Francesco mit Rolltreppen zur Altstadt). Florenz etwa 80 km (Parkplatz Piazzale Michelangelo - super Blick auf Florenz, man kann den Parkautomaten für mehrere Stunden füttern). Andere lohnende Ausflugsziele: Castellina, Pienza, Perugia/Assisi.
Alles in allem war es ein perfekter Aufenthalt, der Empfang durch Cecilia sehr freundlich, sie hat uns alles ausführlich gezeigt und erklärt. Auf uns haben bei Ankunft Wein, Obst, Saft, Wasser und ein Kuchen erwartet. Tutto ottimo! Grazie mille.

Sèjour inobliable en plein coeur du Chianti. La villa est superbe . La décoration est soignée et raffinée. Sans oublier les douces senteurs qui embaumentl'intérieur de cette demeure...Heuresement que nos visites ont été faites lors de la 1ére semaine se notre séjour que nous avons passée près de Reggello, car il nous est difficile de quitter la maison et son environment ...merci à Maria Giulia pour sa gentlesse et son accueil. Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de nos vacances en Toscane.

La villa est super ! Bien que beaucoup de marcchés et de routs pour toute la semaine a été super! Belle temperature ! Nous sommes hereux et nous avons bien profité de notre vacance.

Ein tolle Haus, man spürt die Liebe mit der es geführt wird.
Kleine Wünsche werden sofort erfüllt, es fehlt einfach an nichts.
Die defekte Dusche,keiner kann was dafür, wurde sofort Hilfe geschickt und alles sauber gelöst! Danke auch dafür. Hagel, der arme Garten, die schönen Rosen schade,aber auch hier war sofort jemand zur Stelle.
Weiter so und es werden noch viele Gäste aus aller Welt tollen Urlaub hier verbringen!
